Llanos de Cortes Waterfall To start your day, we will take you to Llanos de Cortes Waterfall in Bagaces, where you can relax and take a swim at the falls or walk around exploring the flora and fauna. Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike - Tenorio Volcano National Park Upon arriving at the entrance, you will go on a 2 hour moderately difficult hike in the park.  You will walk through the rainforest and along the Celeste River where you can observe one of nature's most intriguing phenomenon. Organic Farm - Sloth and Frog Sanctuary After lunch, take a tour on a rural organic farm! You will be taken on an inspiring and educational walk, showcasing natural wonders such as tropical plants, flowers, birds, sloths, frogs, snakes, insects and many more animals that inhabit the farm.

Our guide Hector was great! He gave us a lot of information on the history in Costa Rica and talked about the different plants and animals in the jungle. We also enjoyed our swim at the bottom of the waterfall, the delicious Costa Rican lunch, and the tour of the sloth sanctuary! You can tell how much the tour guides appreciate nature!

We had an incredible experience! the whole was was a blast from swimming in the waterfall, to hiking to rio Celeste, to an authentic Costa Rican Linch, to the sloth sanctuary! Juan Carlos and JK were great - 100% recommend this tour!

We had a great time on this tour. Our pickup van came a little early (~20 mins) but we were already at the location. They would have waited on us. I took my parents (late 60s/early 70s) and 4 of us in 30s/40s went. My father didn’t tackle all the steps down to the Rio Celeste waterfall, but he was able to tackle the hike and still got a great view. Just a warning that the rocks can be a bit slippery so anyone with unsteady footing I would recommend walking sticks or a cane. He was able to hike/view the first waterfall as the hiking was minimal. The stop for food was delicious. I had the pork, my husband chicken, my sister steak, my dad had the untraditional Costa Rican option of shrimp, but everyone ate all of their meal. We had a great driver (William) that tackled these narrow and sometimes unpaved roads well. The guide (Hector) was nice and informative as well. He made sure to point out things (sloths, and alligators, etc. ). The weather was also good as it was the beginning of the rainy season and the area was green/lush and there was good shade covering on the tours.
