Soar over the stunning scenery of Rio de Janeiro while tandem hang gliding or paragliding. Venture to the top of Pedra Bonita in the Tijuca National Forest and take off for a 8 to 16 minute flight over Rio's unique jungle meets city landscape. Land safely on the white-sands of São Conrado Pepino Beach.

  • The hang glider or paraglider is equipped with a safety parachute and is inspected regularly according to the manufacturers standards
  • Wear comfortable shoes (no flip flops, sandals, or slippery shoes)
  • Do not consume alcohol prior to flight
  • Eat soft foods prior to flight
  • From 16 to 18 years old, a person can fly only if accompanied by parent or legal guardian
  • Weight limit is 210 lbs (95 kg)
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A experiência de asa delta foi muito melhor do que eu tinha imaginado. O piloto Assad é muito educado, nos tratou super bem e de cara já me senti confortável com o voo pois ele passa muita confiança. Então não senti tanto medo e a presença dele me tranquilizou muito. Com certeza recomendo que façam este tour, foi tudo perfeito! Para iniciantes como eu, a atenção que me foi dada foi muito importante. Já estou ansiosa para o meu próximo voo!!

I had heard about hang gliding in Rio and it was 100x better to experience it for myself! Pilot Assad was an incredible and experienced instructor with decades of experience. I truly felt like a bird soaring around Pedra Bonita and will never forget this memorable experience! Highly recommend Asa Delta for your tour!!
