    If you prefer more action, you can swim or snorkel over the second largest barrier reef in the world. The pristine waters surrounding Roatan feature pillar coral, Elkhorn coral, brain coral and many more. There are places to rent snorkeling equipment and kayaks, and local operators offer horseback riding, zip-line tours, glass bottom boats, and other fun activities (at an additional cost). All travel will be via a comfortable, licensed, air-conditioned vehicle. Your guide will accompany you to your chosen activities, sharing facts and points of interest along the way. Bring comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking, as well as a bathing suit if you plan to snorkel and enjoy other water sports. Sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended, and you would be wise to bring some insect repellent. Guests must be capable of walking for more than one mile to participate in this tour.

We visited Roatan during our Western Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean. Finding our group leader/Creg was very easy at the port. Kembron was our driver for our party of 8. He took us where we wanted. We started at the Sloth/Monkey Sanctuary and had an awesome time. Then, Kembron called and arranged our Mangrove boat excursion for us. Our final stop was for some chocolate tasting. Kembron was kind, told us all about their island along the way, and made our first visit to Honduras very enjoyable. I highly recommend this excursion!

We saw the monkeys and sloths, did a mangrove boat tour, and ate some chocolate. Kembron was an amazing guide!

Our guide Whetney was amazing! My wife and I booked our tour fairly last minute, we had only booked the cruise the Thursday before we pulled out of port. We got to see sloths, rum cakes, chocolate, and finished our day with massages on the beach! Thanks again for the lovely day!
