Our guide (name forgotten but in photo attached) was excellent even in the hottest Rome day of 45*. She was very knowledgeable and passionate and kept a check on all participants in the heat, stopped in shade and for water fill ups, whilst battling on herself. Excellent English and kept the crew going! ❤️

I had specifically booked a tour that did NOT include the Colosseum as we had already done that and only wanted a tour of the Forum and Palatine Hill. Unfortantely we were put into a tour that did both. Since the main attraction of that group was to go into the Colosseum, the time in the Forum and Palatine Hill was a bit rushed as the rest of the tour wanted to get to the Colossuem. Had the tour only been for the Forum and Palatine Hill, the experience would have been better.

We purchased tickets for the guided tour of the forum and palantine hill. The tickets and info received from viator indicated a 2:20 tour but to be there 20 mins early, which we were. When we found the city walker there was no other group waiting for the same tour. The representative said they would try insert us in another tour that had left for the colosseum at 1 pm. My wife and I are both in our 60’s we were told to follow at a runs pace behind this young person through crowds for about 3/4 of a kilometre. When we arrived that person said we had run to the wrong place and had to run back to where we had come from. Finally we met up with a very tour guide who tried to rush us through the security access point to join his tour. Finally we met the rest of the tour but it was mostly over at that point. Very disappointed in Viator. We went with them because of their reputation. In this case it sounds like they were just looking to collect the payment.
