The Rome E-Bike Tour of the Appian Way is the perfect tour for a fun and refreshing day out of the city! Awe at the beautiful view of the Palatine Hill and Imperial Villas across the way, and then zip your way to the Baths of Caracalla, the second largest thermal baths of all of Rome. Continue your ride and hop on Via Appia Antica, one of the lifelines of the Roman Empire, an impressive road built in 312 BC that extended all the way to the South of Italy. While you ride on this beautiful ancient road you will witness some of Rome's most important mausoleums, churches, and aqueducts, and learn all about the catacombs running for miles underneath you. Filippo was our guide. He was informative, funny, careful, clear with instructions and safe. The entire ride was educational and fun. My e-bike didn’t work and filippo swapped his bike with mine.

We did this tour on our last day in Rome, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip. Brando was awesome! There were several stops along the way and he gave us interesting historical insights of each. We also felt safe with him leading us through traffic at the beginning and end of the ride. What a wonderful experience it was riding on a warm, sunny day through the Roman countryside.

We had a great tour with our guide. He was very fun, willing to explain, great with the the teens and full of knowledge. We had no idea how much we would enjoy this biking experience and we’re clueless about the history of the road. Great tour.
