  • At the moment the Basilica is not accessible from the Vatican Museums because of anti-Covid19 measures. Our tour guide will explain everything about it and you can go there on your own right after the tour. Our guide will assist you.
  • READ CAREFULLY: Because of the growing popularity of the current pope Francis and his intense activity in organising mass events in the Vatican some areas might get closed last minute without previous notice. This has already happened this year and can happen again during you Vatican tour: the Sistine chapel and/or the Basilica of Saint Peter might not be accessible. In case of such events our tour guide will provide you with a valuable alternative focusing the tour inside the Vatican museums.
  • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

    We VERY HIGHLY recommend Private Tours (and Claudia in particular). From the time we booked our tour with Carmen, until the time we were returned to our ship at the end of our tour, we were extremely impressed.     Our guide, Angelica was the best. She did an excellent job of engaging my kids (13 and 10) with questions. She related Roman history and details to things they’ve seen in Minecraft. She had answers to all of our questions and was flexible with the different pace our family moved. We traveled with ages ranging from 70 to 10.

    We took the Rome in a Day tour with Tommaso. It’s a well paced tour that covered a lot of ground. Wear comfortable walking shoes as there are a lot of uneven walking surfaces at the Roman ruins. We are fortunate to have Tommaso as our guide. He is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who presented a lot of historical information in an entertaining way. Because of him we can now tell a little story about each picture we took. Also skipping the line is a must if you want to do Rome in a day in the summer. The line at the Vatican was around the block in the afternoon. Thumbs up for the experience.
