    Visit to Santa Maria Maggiore with an exclusive access, on your own, to the Underground Domus, the main floor’s attraction, the Loggia and exclusive use of the Bernini Ellipsoidal staircase into the Sacrestia. Following the Santa Maria Maggiore visit, there will be a transfer to St. Agnes catacombs (with guide), tour of St. Agnes, then transfer back to Santa Maria Maggiore

  • Mausoleo di Santa Costanza, Rome, Italy
    Once above ground again, continue your visit! Next stop will be just behind the Basilica di Saint Agnes, in the Mausoleo di Costanza. In fact, the basilica is part of a larger, prominent palaeo-Christian funerary complex which is also home to a mausoleum dedicated to Costanza, Emperor Constantine’s daughter. Both his daughters, Costanza and Helena’s remains are buried here, and they have been venerated with priceless 4th century mosaics, some of which depict early versions of Jesus – with long hair and a halo – as he is often still depicted today. The access to these incredible catacombs and funerary complex is privileged and exclusively granted to our company and our company's groups. An off the beaten path, beautiful and inspiring adventure you are sure to never forget! Once the tour has ended, you will hop back on your comfortable chauffeur ride, and be taken back to the city centre.

A Saint Agnes affiliated and certified guide will here take you and other groups from our company only in the underground hallways lined by hundreds of tombs.

Very nice and interesting tour with Valentina! Full of information, Valentina is very knowledgeable and takes time to tweak the tour to her guests. This tour has a very personal flavour to it and is going at leisurely pace allowing to really enjoy the visits. The content is off-the-beaten path and private as we go inside areas that are closed to the public. Also, Roberto is an excellent driver, very smooth in Rome traffic! All in all, very nice experience with Valentina, highly recommended!

Chaira was amazing. We did two tours with her and both were highlights of first Italy vacation. I cannot say enough good things about her.

Highly recommended this tour lead by an archeologist. We visited a number of archeological sites as well as some hidden gems in the city. Definitely off the beaten path but made all the more rich by the history our guide provided. She literally had keys to the catacombs!
