This Rome Shore Excursion has been designed for those guests who wish to enjoy a complete overview of Rome. Your driver will meet you at the ship, holding a sign with your name on it. Do NOT take a shuttle. Call the local emergency number in case of any issues.

As of July 2023, a ticket is required to visit the interior. The ticket costs 5 Euro. If you'd like to go inside the Pantheon, you can purchase your ticket on site.

  • Please note that if mass is taking place in the Basilica of St. Peters, entrance may be restricted. In high season, lines to enter the basilica can be very long. There is no fee to enter the church but shoulders and knees must be covered.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Matteo was our driver for this trip. He is marvelous! Did a superb job navigating the streets of Rome. He found us parking very close to the sites of the tour. He was a delight! When it was time for lunch he took us to an old favorite that was over the top! Delicious!! I’d highly recommend this tour and especially Matteo!!

Great tour to get a taste of Rome. You actually need more than a day to see everything, but this tour is helpful in getting an idea of how to plan your next trip. Our guide Claudio was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Our driver Frederick was wonderful!! He was so kind and friendly! His knowledge of the area was incredible! He really made the experience truly memorable! We loved seeing all of the sites and history. This was a great excursion and well worth the price.
