    Just West of the Colosseum is the Roman Forum, which for many centuries was the place where the future of the ancient western civilization was decided. We will also provide you with skip-the-line access to the Roman Forum and you will still be under the careful attention of our expert guide. Although today the Roman Forum stands in ruins, for many reigns it was at the very center of Rome’s activities. It started as a marketplace for daily shopping, but as the power of the Empire grew, it became much more important. In this part of the tour, you will explore the remnants of ancient grandiose temples, bustling marketplaces and imposing civic buildings. We will also show you the place where Rome first began – on Palatine Hill. Rome’s ancient existence has earned it the name “the Eternal City,” and its time as the ruling city of the lands bordering the Mediterranean Sea has earned it the designation, “Capital of the World.”

  • If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Please be advised capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure. This could also influence the smooth running of the tour especially on national holidays and events.
  • All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security
  • The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependant on the monument/attractions administration offices availabilities and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
  • Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
  • Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Dress code is comfortable clothing
  • The Colosseum portion of the tour will last approximately 1.5 hours.
  • The Roman Forum & Palatine Hill part of the tour will last approximately 1.5 hours.
  • These tours are separated by a break to allow time for pictures or to spend more time in the monument or attraction

This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Excellent - Well Worth The Money! Our guide for the Forum was exceptional, passionate and answered all the questions! The underground part of the Colosseum was amazing, and the separate part on the over view worth the money itself from the crowds. All our party couldn’t fault this tour, if we did have a negative the ear pieces gave off some static but that’s it! 99.999% recommendation.

Alessandro was incredible! Knowledgeable and fun. He gave us a great tour! The overall experience is worth every cent. For anyone in the basement, understand it's one way and do not go backwards. Look for the staircase up on the far side of where you come down, learn from our mistake!
