In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). Our skip-the-line tickets enable you to skip the line if there is one. Unfortunately, there is no way to foresee which days and times are most crowded

Marcius was an incredible guide. My mother had a walker and he constantly ensured her comfort. He is a historian with a great sense of humor so the tour was both academic but he also told the best anecdotal stories that had us laughing. The Vatican is a hard tour for those with mobility issues just from the sheer size of the museum, but Marcius, made it comfortable for my mother to truly enjoy herself. It’s been the highlight of the trip for us! Thank you!

The wheelchair access was helpful but if the disabled person has no walking ability, it will be a problem. Our guide had to find someone to unlock the lift a few times and ramps were often roped off. Even with this, my sister did need to walk down some stairs. The Sistine Chapel was actually kind of disappointing. It was very crowded and you had to stand there among a lot of people holding your head back. The person in the wheelchair was bumped into a lot and she could not see much because of the people all around. You can just look at a picture of the Sistine Chapel and get to spend time looking a detail.
