    Colosseum, also called Flavian Amphitheatre, giant amphitheatre built in Rome under the Flavian emperors. Construction of the Colosseum was begun sometime between 70 and 72 CE during the reign of Vespasian. It is located just east of the Palatine Hill, on the grounds of what was Nero’s Golden House.

If anyone is reading my review, please avoid viator to book this tour. They hire a local agency who are pretty ruthless and unhelpful especially with family with kids. We had to run around just to find our guide. They specifically asked us to come at 10am but made us wait in the sun for the guide and didn’t start until 11:45am. After 30mins of speech they said go look yourself. Very pathetic presentation and totally uncaring guide. Horrible service. Viator should be banned from selling such tours.
