I booked this tour several weeks, nearly two months before the tour date. We were very excited to attend and thought this tour would be a highlight of our visit to Rome. Within the first few weeks of booking, the tour group messaged me stating they were not able to book us with an English speaking tour guide. I compromised and merely asked they we be provided with an English automated tour headset. This was agreed upon. Within 4 hours of our scheduled tour, we were again messaged and informed that the tour operator was unable to obtain even the Italian group tickets. Why was this handled in this matter? Why did they fail to obtain our tickets nearly 2 months prior and why did they inform us just a few hours before the tour? This wasted our entire day as we planned our day around this evening tour of the Colosseum. This was a huge disappointment. To add insult to injury, we decided to go to the site to get tickets there , if available, just to find out that no tickets are sold on the premises post Covid. Incredibly disappointing!!
