  • PLEASE NOTE: as for the Colosseum new management, it might take few minutes to grab tickets for kids (if any of them are in the group) so the activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational reasons
  • The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary
  • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
  • Discounts for children under 18 years is applied only with a valid ID card!
  • Please note that for safety reasons the Colosseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
  • For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened.

  • Forbidden objects inside the Colosseum: bottles and glasses containers, alcholic beverages and aerosols, backpacks, camping, bulky bags and luggage / trolley
  • Please notice that the Colosseum Administration, which depends on the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities has the faculty to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice, for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason. In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit and offer a partial refund

  • No change on a booking can be accepted less than 96 hours before the time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
  • For the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

  • The duration of the tour may vary according to the time taken to access the monument. The tour duration is always at least 2 hours and will always be at most 3 hours.
  • Every refund request MUST be done within and not later than 48 hours from the day of the tour
  • The Colosseum management does not distribute individual tickets. We will have one group tickets for the entire group. For this reason, we cannot give individual tickets to late arrivals.
  • The itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions (ice, rain, or high temperatures) or other events beyond the travel agency's control.

Amazing tour that lasted about 2.5 - 3 hours. We had the English guided tour with the headsets (as it gets noisy and busy T the tourist sites). Fantastically well organised with the people from Crown Tours who we booked with providing directions of where to redeem vouchers before the tour began. MAKE SURE you read the booking details of where to redeem vouchers for experiences as the tours don’t always start at the dame place. Make sure you take ID and they’re serious about no “sprays” in the colosseum, but liquids like hand gels etc. and sun tan lotion fine. Our guide was outstanding and had an incredibly in-depth knowledge of the sites that brought the whole experience to life. Be aware that there are very limited places to stop and sit, so you need to be prepared to be on your feet. It’s busy, but the guides make time for you to stop and take photos so don’t avoid one of these tours because you’re concerned about not getting the chance. Our guide even took photos of all of us at the colloseum so we’d get the opportunity, Thanks Crown Tours, a wonderful and interesting history lesson with a truly passionate historian.

Despite the extreme heat, we couldn't have asked for a better guide.The tour was exactly as promised. We learned a great amount! Additionally, being with a guide allows for a separate and quick entrance as compared to the long lines of single ticket holders. Would highly recommend!

The staff when collecting the tickets were super helpful and friendly, gave lots of good tips! I didn’t realise that you were supposed to bring your own headphones for the tour (this could’ve been something I missed), so make sure you do this as it www really busy and I found it hard to focus on the audio guide.
