Denis was amazing. This is what a tour should be. Unlike almost every other tour operator that uses unique math when they say Max# and double the people are there, this tour was interactive, informative, approachable, and kept the interest of our family including four young boys (who unanimously said this was the highlight of our time in Rome). We won't book with anyone else going forward, as compared to the other ridiculous experiences we had this week, this was the standout for experience and integrity. Do not hesitate to book with EyesofRome.

We booked two tours with Eyes of Rome - The Colosseum and roman forum in the morning and the Vatican museum and St. Peter's Basilica in the afternoon. Both ran for three hours and were excellent. Our guide was Denis Pasolini and he was great - very warm, good sense of humour, and excellent English. It was obvious that his knowledge of the sights and the history was much deeper than what was on script because he welcomed questions and could go deep into them if we had interest in a particular area. It was just two of us, myself and a friend. It was my friend's first time in Rome. I have been to Rome and done a guided tour of the Colosseum and forum before but I still learned many new things (and even had some old knowledge corrected!) I would highly recommend Eyes of Rome if you are looking to skip lineups and get have an intimate, relaxing tour.
