Early arrival was great idea! When we left Basilica, the line in front was soooo long so I would recommend this time of a day. Our guide (Serena) was excellent. She spoke good English and information were very interesting. Also, group was very small which is a big plus. I believe that a guide is a must when visiting Basilica and Dome!

our guide was knowledgeable and humorous. we saw all the good stuff w very little wait/line. she was patient with those who took more time to climb the steps to the duomo. fun!
