You'll join one of our local Rome hosts to explore Trastevere, one of our favorite neighborhoods in Rome. Known for its cobbled piazzas and ivy-clad trattorias, this is authentic, laid-back Rome at its best. You'll explore tiny shops that have been there for generations, boutiques where local designers sell their handmade jewelry, markets and specialist food shops. Get a taste of what local life is like; watch street performers, and sample produce like regional cheeses and enjoy aperitivo as the sun goes down like the locals. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

Well we confirmed via email the date, time and meeting location for our tour start. However, our guide did not arrive on time. We sent a What's App text and he didn't respond. Then he asked if the guide was there with us meaning, he is literally sub contracting out tours. To make things worse City Unscripted has yet to reply to my refund request from 8 days ago. I have used this service before and had a positive experience but I would say stay away from this one. City Unscripted is probably getting to big to provide good service now. And if someone from City Unscripted could read this I would really like a reply.
