After a walk through the vineyard, relax and take in the unforgettable view of the rolling hills and Rome in the background while enjoying a guided tasting of three wines; Frascati Superiore, Red Vagnolo, and Sweet Cannellino. After bidding a reluctant farewell to the winery, return to historic Frascati for a walking tour of the local shops and botteghe. Here you’ll taste celebrated local delicacies such as roasted pork (porchetta), focaccia, biscotti — just out of the antique wood-fired oven — and jug wine. After your meal, the train station is just a few steps away for your return to Rome.

we took the train to frascati and well informed about where to meet ; we have been taken to an amazing wine cellar and vineyard , there was a table that perfectly decorated for us ; we have been to the vineyard to learn about how they cultivate and preserve the grapes for great wine ... we had tasting and then we moved to frascati center for lunch and tasted porchetta w wine on the way there ... lunch and bio-wines were soooo tasty and we had a lovely group that we really enjoyed their company... but the best of all was out tour guide Giovanna... she was born and raised in Frascati and she had perfect knowledge about everything that you might ask about the city...

The wine explanation and history of the winery was exceptional. The rest was lacking. Limited wine tasting and after explaining why house wine is mediocre we are left at a restaurant that served less than average house wine. The tour of the city was not informative. Overall over priced for the experience.

This tour was a wonderful experience in the middle of our five day trip to Rome. Beautiful place, peace and tranquillity with a fabulously passionate, warm and friendly guide who made us all feel so welcome. Hearing and seeing how the wine is made and graded was really interesting. The tasting with tasty cheese and sweet dipping biscuits for the desert wine was perfect. Our walking tour of Frascati with delicious food too topped off a wonderful day.
