We just returned from a wonderful full-day private tour of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. Our driver, Fabrizio, was absolutely wonderful and made our whole day so enjoyable! Our Pompeii tour guide, Lia, was incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so much from her. We had a wonderful time!

Our driver picked us up on time, great considering the road in front of our hotel was torn up and under construction. :) He was very nice and personable (sorry, I cannot locate where I wrote down his name). We had a pleasant and comfortable drive through the Italian countryside, stopping in Sorrento for a bit of lunch and shopping. Pompeii was really the highlight of the day! Our tour guide, Lia was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and insightful, taking us for a journey into the past. We learned so much about the city of Pompeii and the people who lived there. It is really moving to be able to see Mt. Vesuvius looming over the city and imagine the events of that fateful day. We loved the tour and being able to realize a life long dream to visit Pompeii. Lia answered all our questions and made sure we had a bit of time for shopping before heading back to Rome.
