Games & Treasures Hunts Tour in Rome

Our Guide was Allesandra and she was prepared! She had a great Intro History of Rome and then we visited Trevi, the Pantheon, The Egyptian Obelisk at Parliament Building and a few other things along the way. She had a fun competition between the boys and the girls (there were 6 of us--so 3 and 3) to help them focus their learning--she asked questions that she rewarded points for. She had a couple of Relay games and a spelling game (at the Obelisk.) The kids, (ages 7, 10,13 & 15) were really engaged with all the things she did. At the end she gave the 4 kids a very unique keychain to remind them of their time in Rome. Was one of our BEST all-around tours--Loved it!!

We had a great time with Mariaclaudia! My husband, myself, and our 9 year old daughter were in Rome for a week during February halfterm and this was our first activity, having arrived the evening before. Mariaclaudia greeted us with a big smile and got us all very excited for the tour. We enjoyed the competitive aspect throughout the tour - seeing who could find the most Madonellas or SPQRs or being the quickest to answer Mariaclaudia's questions. And we learned so much about areas which, I feel, may not be common knowledge about Rome. I was particularly impressed by how much my daughter remembered when asked about it days later. It shows just how engaged she was by Maria's teaching!

Myself and the girls (tap kids) wanted to try something different while in some, fun but at the same time keeping the learning process of time history. And Maria was like a gift of God in making that happen. She is excellent in engaging the kids for the whole two hours, with her various ways of asking questions, relating the information to current and past history, being very patient with the questions and on top of that ensuring the safety of everyone one, having this as a walking game. I highly recommend this activity for anyone with kids an enjoyable worth it two hours.
