  • Spanish Steps, Rome, Italy
    The monumental stairway of 135 steps was built with French diplomat Étienne Gueffier's bequeathed funds of 20,000 scudi, in 1723–1725, linking the Trinità dei Monti church that was under the patronage of the Bourbon kings of France and the Bourbon Spanish Embassy at the top of the steps to the Holy See in the Palazzo Monaldeschi at the bottom of the steps.     The Capitolium or Capitoline Hill, between the Forum and the Campus Martius, is one of the Seven Hills of Rome.     The Via del Corso is a main street in the historical centre of Rome. It is straight in an area otherwise characterized by narrow meandering alleys and small piazzas. Considered a wide street in ancient times, the Corso is approximately 10 metres wide, and it only has room for two lanes of traffic and two narrow sidewalks. The northern portion of the street is a pedestrian area. The length of the street is roughly 1.5 kilometres.
  • Circus Maximus, Rome, Italy
    The Circus Maximus is an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue in Rome, Italy. In the valley between the Aventine and Palatine hills, it was the first and largest stadium in ancient Rome and its later Empire. It measured 621 m (2,037 ft) in length and 118 m (387 ft) in width and could accommodate over 150,000 spectators.[2] In its fully developed form, it became the model for circuses throughout the Roman Empire. The site is now a public park.
  • Piazza Navona, Rome, Italy
    Piazza Navona is a public open space in Rome. It is built on the site of the Stadium of Domitian, built in the 1st century AD, and follows the form of the open space of the stadium. The ancient Romans went there to watch the games, and hence it was known as "Circus Agonalis" ("competition arena"). It is believed that over time the name changed to in avone to navone and eventually to navona.

We absolutely loved our Golf Cart tour. Andrea took us to the places we requested and even to places we wouldn't have thought of. He explained the history of buildings we would normally have drove right past. We also had the best gelato of our trip. This was something I was very happy we booked during out stay. We landed at 10:00 a.m. and jammed the day. We dropped our stuff at the hotel and started out walking. Then had a colosseum tour at 1:00 for 2 & 1/2 hours. Once our tour was over, we had the golf cart meet us just near the colosseum for our 3 hour tour. It was perfect, our feet got some rest, but we were able to get in the rest of the things we didn't see and things we didn't even now we wanted to see. We highly recommend this option while you're staying in Rome.

The golf cart helped us see all the key sights in a very short time! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and customized the tour for us! Having a separate guide and driver was helpful as parking is difficult - even for golf carts!

Nicola is the best guide. He was so knowledgeable and interesting. He brought so much of Ancient Rome to life! The golf cart was a fun way to get around. We were able to see more than we expected and having a guide who was born and raised in Rome made it even better. He made great recommendations for restaurants, etc.
