Carlos was so kind. We were running a few minutes behind and he gave us the full experience still. He taught us how to make banana gelato and we also sampled almost every other kind of gelato as well :) We have too many favorites, but a few included lavender peach, ginger, mint, truffle, mango and of course the banana. It was by far the best gelato we tasted in Rome! The process was simple for families with kids and he made it fun by allowing us to do every step with fresh ingredients that everyone could follow. We even got to see our own gelato on display and also scoop our own cones from behind the counter which completed the experience. If you love to learn new skills and want to taste the best gelato, then this activity is perfect for you! We look forward to returning on our next trip back. Arrivederci!

Carlos did a great job of explaining the gelato making process to us. It was a lot of fun, very informative, and very tasty! He let us measure and add all the ingredients and showed us how to run the machines. While the gelato was churning we were able to taste as many flavours as we wanted, and he explained where they source all the freshest ingredients. They have flavours for everyone including vegan and dairy free. This is a family run business and their pride in their work shows in the excellence of their product. Carlos didn’t rush us at all and we sampled not only the gelato we made, but also a full serving of any flavour we chose at the end. Great experience!
