Pizza and Pasta Master Class in Rome with Wine and Tiramisu

Good experience if you want to combine pizza and pasta making at the same time and place. Sometimes lacking a bit of explanations or a bit rushed but information is provided after the session. Depends probably on the size of the group. The less enjoyable part is the low-quality wines served.

We really enjoyed this experience. The owner and chef, Guiseppe. is very personable and a lot of fun. Our class was in late May 2025 and had people from Mexico, Denmark, Germany, southern France, New York City and Nebraska. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Guiseppe and his team teach you how to make pizza dough, how to shape and cook a Napoli style pizza, how to make fettucini and two kinds of pizza. Here are a few thoughts: 1. The class is in Laurentino, about 20 minutes from the Colosseum on the B Metro line. Just head for Laurentina station at the end of the line. The class is out in a farming area about 15 minutes away from the station, but they provide minivans to get you there. Expect to spend at least four hours with travel from Rome and the class. 2. Arrive on time. They have drivers waiting for you, but they are not going to hold up the rest of the class if you can't be on time. If you miss, you'll have to get a taxi. 3. The event is covered areas outside. The weather was great and we didn't have any problem with mosquitos in late May, but definitely bring some warm coats and bug spray for other months. 4. The Pizza dough recipe takes 24 hours to rise. The chef shows you how to make it, but you'll work with dough they already prepared. You'll make a Napoli-style pizza and bake it in less than three minutes in their wood fired pizza oven. Delicious. 5. You'll make the pasta, but they will cook and sauce it. 6. They provide water and wine for the meal. Other drinks are available at extra charge. The wine was good, but be realistic. It won't be a $200/bottle wine. 7. The tiramisu and limoncello were already prepared, but were delicious. 8. Guiseppe provides an electronic copy of all of the recipes for the class including the pasta sauces, tiramisu and limoncello. This was a lot of fun and we got to eat a great meal. We highly recommend this class.

The venue is very pleasant, sorrounded by nature and easy to park. The place is clean and has a garden with trees that makes it ideal for hot weather. The chef and his team are quick to respond to any questions, very professional and knowledable. It was a big group with little ones and big ones and we all enjoyed it and learnt new skills, it was fun and delicious. The little ones were engaged and equally had an space to run arround, the adults enjoyed the food and the wine.
