Pope Francis proclaimed the Jubilee Year of Mercy starting on December 8, 2015 and close to the 2025 Jubilee YEAR, we are ready for it. This private tour gives you the opportunity to learn more about the meaning of this event as you visit the major and most representative religious sites of Rome. Escorted by your English-speaking driver, visit the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Wall, the Basilica of St. Praxedis, and the Patriarchal Basilica of St. Mary Major, and gain a more in-depth experience than you would on most typical tours of the city's Christian sites. You'll discover hidden secrets and treasures of these landmarks and learn about their significance to the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Even though the Jubilee Year will be proclaimed over, the spirit of such a memorable year will continue, and you will feel its essence with us.

Max was our guide and he was wonderful. To begin with he grew up in Norman, Oklahoma so his english is perfect. Also, he is dual citizen US/Italy and lives in Italy now.
We are Evangelical Christians and wanted to tour Rome with a proper Historical view of Churches and sites, but also wanted to see historical sites relating to Peter and Paul and Early Christian martyrdom more than strictly history of the Catholic Church. Max is a strong Catholic, but also has a graduate degree in Theology, so could very comfortable discuss with us different views of sites, and the common historical interest all Christians have of some of the places we visited. He seemed to be truthful and cleared up so misconceptions we had of the early Church in Rome, and thus what grew to cover the known world.
We have done many tours, but never have enjoyed one more than this one. We knew Rome was a wonderful historical place to visit but we did not realize the depth of understanding that could be gained for Protestant christians when given a chance to ask real questions.

Seeing the history not just of Rome but of civilization is rather humbling. Luca's knowledge is quite impressive. I have studied on it quite extensively but his knowledge is far superior than mine.
