Your bike tour starts by meeting your guide at a central location in Rome. You'll be paired with an electric-assist bicycle, which looks like a regular bicycle but takes out most of the work of pedaling up Rome’s famous hills. Pedal away from Rome’s busy traffic, following your guide past sights like the Circus Maximus and the Castle of the Holy Angel; ride through the colorful neighborhood of Trastevere and visit popular piazzas like Piazza Farnese and Square of St. Peter’s Basilica. Climb on the Janiculum Hill for a breath-taking view of the Eternal city and ride down to the square of Saint Peter’s Basilica, then finish the tour by going on the Capitoline hill, for a view over the monumental ruins of the Roman forum.

  • Minimum of 4 participants applies (total number of participants on tour). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is only 3 passengers (or less) on the tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative for your tour or full refund.
  • Please note: In the event of official/public celebrations and happenings in the city center of Rome, the company reserves the right to substitute one or more of the included highlights with alternative ones.
  • We require that all participants wear a helmet (provided for free).
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Tour was exactly what we wanted. Plenty of vistas for pics. Lots of sights that aren’t necessarily mainstream mixed with some big ones. Fabio, our guide was super knowledgeable about ALL things Italy. He was courteous and safe as well. Do yourself a favor and pick Fabio’s brain about everything, he was fantastic! Most of Rome’s big sites and squares are easily accessible by foot. This tour is a wonderful way to start your trip and get you great pictures and insight. Slightly off the beaten path but not too far. You get a wonderful overall feel for the entire city. The gelato in Trastevere was the best (and we tried plenty). The view of the Colosseum at the end is gorgeous. This tour was my family’s favorite part of the trip. Perfecto!

Fantastische ervaring, heel leuk trip. Een absolute aanrader, zeker voor wie Rome een eerste keer bezoekt. Geen enkele andere manier is beter om de stad in zijn geheel te verkennen, vooral bezienswaardigheden die wat verderop gelegen zijn. Perfecte service bij het boeken ook. Wij raden jullie sowieso aan, en dit aan al wie het wil horen!

This was the highlight of our stay in Rome. Klaus was the the perfect guide, friendly, knowledgeable and quick to think. Our tour started out cloudy but then rained and hailed and fortunately ended with magnificent sunsets of the city. Our guide took us to hidden gems to find shelter,entertained us with fascinating stories and we ended up with the stunning city photos of our trip. The bikes were easy to ride and climbing the hills was a breeze.
