Alessandro welcomed us to his city and gave us some super local knowledge around Centro Storcio and its Basilicas, Piazzas and Monuments. The food was absolutely delicious and we returned to each place again during the remainder of ihr stay, a really great experience for us on our first night in Rome. We were besieged by an unexpected hail storm, but Alessandro ensured we were looked after, finding nooks to seek refuge, purchase umbrellas and keep warm.
