This is my 3rd trip to Rome and I always have Roberta from Driver Guide Service plan our tours. I wanted the tour on the 15th but she knew that Friday before Easter, the Colosseum could be closed without much notice. So we booked the 14th and were happy we did. Our guide, Barbara, was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient and was able to get us past the long lines. Because of the holiday crowd, we might not have had time to get through all of the tour if Barbara had not smoothed our way around. I highly recommend Driver Guide Service for any transportation or tour needs you might have in and around Rome.

What an extraordinary experience with Driver Guide Service! We were in Rome for the Autumn Half Term and white there our son asked us to visit the Colosseum. Finding tickets was impossible and the kew to ender was unimaginable. We than decided to contact Driver Guide Service! And Roberta not only found the tickets for us but also organised a guided private tour tailor-made for our 7 years old son in less than 48h. Simply amazing! The guide met us at the underground stop and in less than 5 minutes we entered the Colosseum, skipping the long line outside… such a privilege! Our guide has been extremely nice and patient explaining our son all the stories about this incredible monument, she had some books with her that helped him and us to imagine how the Colosseum's life in the Ancient Rome was. We stopped every time it was needed and she explained different concepts using the most appropriate details depending who the explanation was addressed to, kid or adults. Her smile and her joyful approach captured immediately our son who still remembers all the details of that visit. It has been a memorable experience, everything went smoothly and efficiently. I strongly recommend both the Driver Guide service and their Colosseum tour.
