We did two tours on two consecutive days with the amazing Rahul Raghavan of Europe Odyssey Tours. I’ve done many guided tours in many different countries but I have to say the two days we spent in Rome with Rahul taking us around were hands down the best tours we have ever done! You cannot get a better guide to Rome - well versed in its history, it’s art, politics and its story. You don’t just get facts - you get a sense of the life and soul of the city. We had our two children -aged 14 and 12 with us and they were mesmerised by the stories, the Vatican tour and the walk through Ancient Rome - which is in itself testimony to Rahul Raghavans skill. The best part of the trip was that Europe Odyssey tailored the tour to suit our and the children’s needs. Rahul worked with us to help identify an itinerary and a schedule that suited us - with coffee breaks and pit stops so that no one felt tired. Even better we were given super advice on restaurants and even the great hotel that we finally chose was a tip from Rahul. So what you get is not just a guided tour of Rome but a whole package of support! We will keep going back!
