If you wish to have a complete experience of the Colosseum, this tour is perfect for you. With this 3 hours and 30 minutes walking tour, you will visit the Ancient Rome. You will see the Colosseum with restricted areas of the underground and arena, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. In a small group up to 25 people, you will be provided with headsets to hear better the guide. Take our small group and enjoy the full experience of Ancient Rome!

Via dei Fori Imperiali, 1, 00186 Roma RM, Italy Meeting point for the tour is right in front of the Basilica of Santi Cosma and Damiano, the church is located on Via dei Fori Imperiali (half way) & is close the entrance of the Roman Forum. You will see our staff in front of the Basilica wearing a uniform with the logos of the company.

    Your tour includes the main sights of Ancient Rome and special access to the Colosseum. In this tour, you will not only visit the regular areas of the Colosseum but you will also have special access to the underground and the arena, which are usually closed to the general public. You will see the dungeons, where gladiators waited for their combats and the arena where the combats took place. Your guide will explain to you all the secrets of the Colosseum and of gladiators using also images to give you the opportunity to see how it was in the past.

    Then, you will move to the Palatine Hill, where you can find the emperor’s houses and a beautiful view of the city.

  • Children under 18 must bring a passport/ identity card as proof of age in order to issued with reduction tickets. Failure to do so may result in full charge for tickets at the expense of the client.

  • -The entrance fee to the archaeological sites is 17 Euros for adults (23 Euros for the arena option), accompanied by a booking fee of 2 Euros. The additional amount covers services provided by experienced licensed guides, audio devices, booking fees and other tourist services. The aim is to promote transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown. In July and August, due to the heat, the duration of the tour is 2 hours. Please note that this tour is not wheelchair accessible. -Meeting time is subject to change; if this occurs, you will receive a call or message from the activity provider. please provide your correct phone number and country code. -ID mandatory. Guests who show up without ID cannot be guaranteed entrance. -The full names of all the participants in the booking is needed, incomplete information on the booking cannot be guaranteed entrance.
  • In summer time we suggest bringing a bottle of water. In summer time due to the heat the tour might last about 2 hours.
  • Please Note: to access the Colosseum you need to add in your reservation the exact name and last name of all participants in your group and children need to be specified. In case of mistake in writing your name and last name in your reservation, if the Colosseum tickets controllers deny the access due to the wrong name and last name we decline any responsibility and NO REFUND will be provided.
  • Please note: in case of late arrival we inform you that you will lose your tour and no refund will be given for no show or for late arrival
This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
