The actual colosseum was amazing. Definitely worth the trip. However the tour guide was very rude and seemed in such a rush to finish the tour so they could leave and move on. We ended up leaving the guide as it was the only way we felt like we could enjoy the experience. Would say book the guide to get in quicker and see the arena level then leave them, much nicer walking around at your own pace without someone being rude and rushing when you’ve paid for it.

The booked tour was cancelled and they advised through Trip Advisor but we and a few other did not get the notice, so arrived at meeting point before we found out. Managed to rebook for the next day. Tour guide was knowledgeable but sounded like a robot repeating herself, by the book. The Colosseum was amazing buy would have been better to join the queue and find you own way around.

We booked this tour last minute because the person who ran the Premier Underground and Dungeons Colosseum Experience cancelled last minute and left us unable to get a similar tour. This tour was ok but the guide repeated a lot of things and did not seem to have many stories to tell about the coliseum. We did not get to go to the lower level as this ticket did not cover that. Not the fault of the tour but we were still a little disappointed. Since I cannot write a review for the Dungeons tour I will say on this review not to take that for fear they will cancel again last minute. For this tour, the guide was friendly and we did get ample time to explore the colosseum and got in faster that with a regular ticket but I don’t think the guide was very informative.
