I first used What a Life Tours three years ago when I visited Rome with my mother. At that time we took a wheelchair accessible private early access tour of the Vatican and also a tour of the Borghese Gallery with an art historian. Both were excellent in content and value. I rebooked again this trip with both an early access Vatican small group tour and Colloseum tour with access to the underground. Both were excellent again. Getting up in time to gather at 7 am was worth it to see the Sistine Chapel before the crowds (it’s still busy, but a fraction of what it’s like once the museum opens to the general public). Bear in mind that sometimes the Vatican Museums see as many as 40,000 a day and regularly 25,000.
I love the friendliness and expertise of the guides, who really know their stuff. Mario was our guide for the Vatican Museums; he was extremely knowledgeable, funny and gracious. Loved it! Our Colloseum tour was with
I love that small group means small group - they never overbook the tours. We were ten on the Vatican tour and that was perfect.

What a Life Tours was OUTSTANDING. Breakfast before the tour was a nice start, and very organized. Our tour guide.... Elaine was magnificent. Elaine was HIGHLY knowledgeable and also entertaining. It was abundantly clear that she pours her heart and soul into making her guided tours of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica a once in a lifetime memorable experience. They have my full and unconditional recommendation.
