The ruins here indicate the importance of the Forum, as a centre of religion, politics and commerce. You’ll see the Temple of Julius Caesar, built on the site of his cremation, the Arch of Titus, House of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate House, the Basilica of Maxentius and much more.
