This is a unique experience to discover the wines of Ronda, at the hands of a local wine expert. Your wine guide is DipWSET qualified to level 4. You will taste some 6 to 8 wines throughout the day and enjoy local tapas to accompany them. Your wine guide will inform you about the history of the area and the rebirth of wine in Ronda over the last 30 years. All wineries in the Ronda area are manually harvested and use minimum intervention wine making techniques. Should you wish to explore Biodynamic wineries in the area we can also organise that for you. Please note we work with most of the wineries in Ronda, the itinerary shown is just an example. The choice of wineries will vary depending on availability.

    You will be picked up from your accommodation on the Costa Del Sol and driven through the National Park region of Sierra de las Nieves to Ronda, where your tour begins.

    You will be able to discover the historic roman town of Ronda at your leisure, visit the Bull Ring (one of the oldest in Spain and still in use) and cross the Puente Nueva, that straddles the dramatic Tajo gorge.

What a great day! Nicky did a fantastic job exposing us to the boutique wineries of Andalusia. After some time wandering Ronda we went to two great wineries where we were shown the vineyards and production facilities and then experienced the great wine that were made there. Nicky’s close relationships with the wineries ensured we were treated like valued guests and her expertise helped us taste the unique nuances that the wines of the Ronda area have to offer. I’d do this tour again in a heartbeat!

If we could give 10 stars , we would! This is an amazing day trip! Up to Ronda for 2 hours and then 2 astounding winery tours, tasting and lunch of local cheeses, meats and breads. This is a not to be missed tour. Thank you, Nicky!

Best tour of our entire trip. Nicky was great to work with and a pleasure to be with. She is friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about wine. In addition she had so much information about Ronda and the areas we passed through during the trip. We booked the small group tour and it wound up just being us and one other couple. We got 2 hours on our own to explore Ronda and then stopped at two cute wineries. At the second winery we were also given a tapas lunch that was freshly prepared by the owner..it was delicious. I highly recommend this tour!
