Take a guided tour of the Hobbiton Movie Set and learn how this picturesque farmland was transformed into a living, breathing piece of Middle Earth. Your guide will show you Hobbit holes, the Green Dragon Inn, the Party Tree, the Mill, and many other structures from the movies. It was a wonderful experience! A very interesting and informative tour! The apple cider was delicious and the lunch was very delicious! The bus driver was very friendly and I learnt a lot about New Zealand on the way and he even dropped me off at my motel at the end of the tour so exceptional service! Will highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic day. Phil our driver was hilarious and kept us entertained on the bus ride up there. The day is well planned, enough time to grab a coffee, see souvenir shop etc before and after the tour. Tour itself was amazing. Lovely touch giving us a free stein as apology for some construction work. Lunch was delicious. Absolutely nothing I would change! One tip, would be nice to coordinate a chance to come from Rotorua and get on Auckland bus after the tour. A couple of people did it with their cases, I wish I knew this before. But this didn't impact the tour itself so all good!
