Although the trip was advertised as having a bus with a lavatory(WC) … the lavatory (WC) was kept locked throughout the trip. When i asked the tour guide … Esmeralda… why … she said, “no water” … i wonder if the real reason was that no one wanted to clean the lavatory at the. end of the trip. So the passengers who needed the lavatory had to … at some stops use pay toilets … if you didn’t have coins then too bad. …. or you wasted your time at stops trying to find a lavatory rather then exploring the area … BTW. Did not have that problem on a tour to “Gaithorn (sp)” two days before with Saied. The boat ride around Rotterdam harbour was not wort the 70 or so minutes it took. The guide on the boat … not Esmeralda but the tour boat guide … provided very little information … some chatter about the ship “The Rotterdam” which is now a hotel and convention centre. The barges, tug boats, one small bridge etc. were of little or no interest to me. That time might have been better spent with a guided tour of sites in Rotterdam or The Hague.

Ian was an excellent guide kept the tour informative but in a humourous and lightheaded manner. He also made sure to give additional advise at each stop for food and other interesting local tidbits and cuisines. Marcel was a great driver and kept us on schedule. Really recommend this to anyone whether solo or more. Cheers!
