  • Must be minimum 12 years of age .
  • Weigh over 45kgs and under 118 kgs
  • Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Pregnant guests are not permitted on the tour due to fall risk.
  • Not recommended for guests with some mobility or motor control issues.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

We decided to ‘bite the bullet’ and head off on our first Segway tour and selected the Fortress Adventure. Why not start with an off-road experience! After filling in the required paperwork, we were joined by four others (non-first timers ☹) for our training session. We were all put through the basic start/stop/cornering techniques and then time for the off. What a fabulous experience, if a little nerve-wracking at times on the gravel paths. Our guide, Gaz, was excellent, commentary easy to hear and really informative, the pace was really good (I only had one little mishap) and all places we visited very interesting even if I was not as much of a military buff as my husband ????. Lots of viewing stops and an excellent one and a half hours. Highly recommended and remember to book as it is very popular.

What an amazing way to see Rottnest. Gaz our tour guide was super informative about the islands history, and took us to some great locations that we might not have found ourselves. They are really good at teaching everyone a safe way to use the Segway and anyone with even moderate physical abilities should pick it up in no time. What a fantastic way to spend 90mins. We also did the Settlement Explorer tour the next day because we had so much fun on the first day
