Breathtaking hike to Frozen Waterfall Korouoma Nature Reserve. Be brave to come down up to 130 m (430 ft) deep canyon. On a valley, we will see three frozen waterfalls, a challenge of climbers, and do traditional Lappish BBQ.

    Korouoma is about 30 kilometres long, few hundred metres wide and up to 130 m deep canyon at Posio, Finland. The entire area is a natural reserve. There are plenty of species in varied nature of Korouoma. Korouoma offers great opportunities for hiking, watching the nature, fishing and reviewing the cultural history of usage of nature at the area.

Wonderful hike in the frozen waterfalls trail. We got crampons and had a nice lapish BBQ. Alex was a great guide.

A great hiking tour that you should definitely do. A big advantage was that we reached the canyon BEFORE all other tourists, in a small group. So we had the indescribable nature and the beautiful waterfalls just for us. A fairytale landscape that you could enjoy in peace and quiet. Alex, our guide, organized everything very well. From picking us up, hiking to waterfall and at the end there was a BBQ and a campfire. Thank you again for the unforgettable experience. Don't miss it ! Eine tolle Wandertour , die man unbedingt machen sollte. Ein grosser Vorteil war, dass wir VOR allen anderen Touristen in einer kleinen Gruppe den Canyon erreichten. Somit hatten wir die unbeschreibliche Natur und die wunderschönen Wasserfälle nur für uns. Eine märchenhafte Landschaft, die man in Ruhe und Stille genießen konnte. Alex unser Guide ,hatte alles super organisiert, von der Abholung , Wanderung bis zum anschließenden BBQ. Vielen Dank nochmal, für das unvergessliche Erlebnis. Verpasst es nicht !

Tour: It was such a nice tour and a Must do when you visit Rovaniemi in the Arctic Circle! Composed of a small group where is the approached ispersonalized. The sausage was deliciously perfect! Paired with the local Tea which is flavory hot! Guide: (Alex) Such a nice and approachable guide. Who give me all informations on how can i make the most of my stay. ???? Very informative and helpful not only that A handsome tour guide as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
