With this tour , you will spend approximately forty five minutes to an hour experiencing the natural phenomenon luminous lagoon . Witness the glow formed from small microorganism that emit a flash of light when touched. This marvel is only found four places in the world, however this lagoon is the brightest of them all due to the consistent climate in Jamaica. The Darker the night the brighter it glows. Therefore it is best to book this tour on a dark night, rather than when it is full Moon. (Nb) For best experience reserve your experience for a dark night as we recommend checking a Lunar Calendar for the best dates to book this Excursion. After which you can go for a swim and see the water light up around you or if you wish ,you can stay on the boat and have as much fun just watching others splashing the water to see the magnificent glow. The Darker the night the brighter the glow. Therefore we recommend that travellers book this Excursion on a dark night rather than when the Moon is Full. Book wisely on a dark night for the best experience.

The lagoon was magical! Our guides were knowledgeable and so funny! Our driver from Coopa tours was beyond fabulous. We got so much history on our ride there! Totally recommend this adventure!

It was interesting to see the luminescence, but we were experiencing a full moon so it wasn’t that dark. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time at the bar before the fire show and then boat tour took place. The kids were getting a bit bored waiting..

Desmond Transportation Services provided pick up and drop off to the tour site. Desmond was excellent, timely and knowledgeable. He gave a lots of facts about the Jamaica and different sites along the way. The boat was entertaining, one of my favorite tours in Jamaica so far. The guide was hilarious and made the experience one to remember.
