All expectations for our 1 Day Safari to Akagera National Park were exceeded.
I knew what I thought a safari would be like, however, my visions truly paled in comparison to what I actually experienced. It was serene, peaceful, exhilarating at times, and absolutely magnificently breathtaking. Bosco Mugabe was our careful, expert, friendly, capable and knowledge guide - from pickup to dropoff it was a joy o have shared time and space with him. Viewing the animals that make the park their home was so special and I was very pleased to know that the animals have tremendous freedom to be themselves and not be caged and staged!
Tips for future guests: prepare you heart and mind in an open way to receive all that the park has to offer, seen and unseen! This was an extraordinary and very memorable experience for me!
