Our vehicles are branded with Heritage Safaris logo for easy identification. We also ensure that the
driver/ guide wears a T shirt with our logo whenever he/she is handling clients.
During pick up, the driver or guide carries a sign board with Heritage Safaris logo and the full names of clients for easy identification.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Heritage was an excellent travel partner for me - a middle aged woman from the US traveling alone. They were easy to work with, had excellent service, great options for accommodations according to my budget and shepherded me safely through my 3 day fantastic adventure. Being able to experience the gorillas in their wild habitat was breathtaking. Learning about Rwandan history, culture and current affairs from my driver and the guides was interesting and eye opening.

Three months later, and I am still in awe of the experience. Thank you to Sifa, Hussain and Swaib for preparing our group for such a spectacular day. The team at Heritage Safaris ensured we had everything we needed, including door-to-door transportation, excellent lodging and food, and all the right recommendations. Couldn't have asked for more:)

A once in a lifetime experience! We had a group of 7 with various personalities and the Heritage team was most accommodating and resourceful. They communicated ahead of our trip to make sure that we were prepared with recommendations on clothing and equipment so that we could have most enjoyable trip possible. The night before our trip, we were thoroughly briefed on what to expect on our excursion and, boy, did they deliver!! Many thanks to Hussein and Swaib for an excellent adventure!!
