    Mr. Edison from Bamboo Ecotours organized my pick-up from Kigali, a visit to Batwa community, a canoe trip and the gorilla trekking in Bwindi park, and returned me safely to Kigali airport. Fred, my guide and driver, made possible this challenging short program. I am grateful to them as I learned about the the nature and animals and met the people in this part of Uganda, allowing me to enrich my knowledge and left me with a wonderful experience.

    Our 2 night experience through Bamboo Ecotours was a wonderful experience. Edison was helpful and answered my many, many questions beforehand professionally and promptly. Our driver Fred was friendly, knowledgeable and a good driver - we always felt safe. He was on time and had a big smile, making us feel so welcome. No request was a hassle.     I couldn’t recommend this company more - and in fact I did to a number of colleagues when I finished in Rwanda. Communication was quick and easy, as was online payment. There was good flexibility about pick up and drop off and accommodation options. The experience itself was of course unforgettable- and the service from Bamboo Eco Tours flawless. It is also important to me that this supports local communities and all the ownership and employees are local Ugandans from the area who know it well. Fred, my driver and guide, was friendly, safe and helpful and spoke excellent English.
