I can’t complain about anything on this tour—it was perfect and incredibly well-organized.
From the moment I booked, the agent proactively reached out with all the details: what to bring, things to note, what to expect, the daily itinerary, and even asked if I had any special requests.
The hotel pick-up to the cruise was on time. The cabin on the cruise was clean, spacious, and had an amazing window view. The sundeck was well-maintained, and the food was decent—even if you get tired of local dishes. The price of water on board was reasonable, so I felt a bit silly for bringing so much myself. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave a lot of detailed information about each attraction. The crew was friendly, and I especially appreciated the transparency regarding tips. I have no issue with tipping since "Baksheesh" has been an integral part of Egyptian culture for centuries. What I really liked was how the tour guide clearly communicated what the reasonable tip amounts were for each service. This made the experience much smoother—unlike other tours where I’ve seen tourists argue with drivers or guides over tipping, like in Edfu, where the coachman thought the tip was too low.
However, if you’re looking for more time to explore each attraction, this might not be the tour for you—it’s a bit rushed, but it covers everything. If you're passionate about Egyptian culture and want to take your time at each site, consider a 7-day tour or longer. Also, meals are served quite late every day, so if that bothers you, a longer tour might be a better choice.
One last tip: bring a mask. The air in Egypt can be very polluted, which could cause headaches or make you feel unwell. But despite that, every sight is truly amazing and unlike anything else, so it's definitely worth it.
