"Lest We Forget" - Welcome to our Long Tan Battlefield one-day tour from Ho Chi Minh City! Join us as we embark on a historical journey to one of the most significant battlefields in Vietnam's wartime history. Located approximately 110 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the Long Tan Battlefield holds great historical importance as the site of the Battle of Long Tan, which took place during the Vietnam War. This battle, fought on August 18, 1966, between the Australian Army and the Viet Cong forces, has become a symbol of courage and resilience.

  • The Battle of Long Tan, Vung Tau, Vietnam
    Our tour begins with an early morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City, where you'll be picked up by our knowledgeable and friendly guide at 8 am. As we drive through the picturesque countryside, our guide will provide you with valuable insights into the historical context of the Vietnam War and the significance of the Long Tan Battle. After there, proceed to the Discourtesy Rubber Plantation by driving by Horseshoe FSB (entry is prohibited due to the ongoing presence of land mines). Before going on to the Long Phuoc Tunnels, stop at the Long Tan Cross Memorial, a site of memory. The Long Phuoc Tunnels had meeting spaces, first aid stations, and fighting pits, just like other underground systems discovered in Vietnam. Our last destination on a half-day journey to Long Tan - Nui Dat is the Long Phuoc Tunnels. You will return to Ho Chi Minh City after a brief break. Visit ends at your hotel.

A must do trip whilst in HCMC. Tony is an amazing guide with so much knowledge and experience. Tony's stories take you straight back to events that took place in the battle. The most touching part of the tour is when Tony stops to buy flowers for us to lay at the cross and we then read the Ode. To have the opportunity to share this experience with Tony will be one that won't be forgotten. Many memories where made and Tony, you will never be forgotten.
