The whole tour was a hassle. The guide, Jackie, kept pushing us on and on non-stop through the sites, without any calm to wait for the group to enjoy and have a food experience. That spoiled it for me. But that’s certainly not enough. They ask you additional money for tips for the boat, driver and tuc-tuc, which is mandatory and it’s not included in the pricy fee of the tour. Furthermore, they take you to this touristy lacker workshop, with the sole purpose of selling you things. I thought it to be downright dishonest. The tour on Coconut Island also aims solely to sell you products. I’m not against advertising for local handcrafts, but I felt kinda trapped and forced to contribute. They should AT LEAST prevent you beforehand about the shop-oriented purpose of the visit. The Cu Chi Tunnels and the delta of the Mekong are interesting places to visit, but I strongly suggest you to choose another tour comupany.
