We will pick up all the travelers in Districts 1 and 4. The pickup is around 30 minutes from 7:00 - 7:30 AM.

  • Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
    The Cu Chi Tunnels, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, were an extensive network of underground tunnels that served as a critical strategic location during the Vietnam War. Constructed over several years, the tunnels spanned more than 250 kilometers and were made up of multiple layers, including living quarters, kitchens, meeting rooms, hospitals, and even schools. The tunnels were dug by hand, using rudimentary tools such as shovels, hoes, and picks, and the workers would remove the soil from the tunnels and conceal it in nearby fields to avoid detection. Navigating through the Cu Chi Tunnels was a complex task, requiring specialized knowledge and training. The tunnels were narrow, with a height of only a few feet, and were often filled with traps and obstacles, such as spike pits and hidden doors. The Viet Cong soldiers were trained to move silently and quickly through the tunnels, using their knowledge of the terrain to avoid detection. Then, we will drive to My Tho.

The tour was very interesting and taught my teenagers and I a lot about the impact of war in Vietnam and how the country is moving forward towards a brighter future. They were fascinated and a bit scared about the tactics and tricks that soldiers used. There were lots of objects from the war, like a tank, remnants of the tunnels, and traps that were used at the time. Apart from the tunnels, there was a stop along the way where artisans impacted by Agent Orange made impressive paintings and artwork using eggshells. The boat trips to the coconut candy factory and the bee farm were very fun and interesting. Our tour guide, Alex, was very kind and helpful. He helped us translate Vietnamese words we didn’t know and was fun to converse with. Alex made the trip livelier and fun. Overall, this was a very interesting and educational tour and we would definitely recommend it!

Great tour of Cu Chi tunnels with our warm, sincere and friendly leader, Typhoon Honey! Definitely a must see attraction in Vietnam that will pleasantly surprise you. Enjoyed learning about the history of Cu Chi as well as the hard-to-hear realities of the chemical warfare aftermath that still affects Vietnam today.
