On this half-day Morning or Afternoon Cu Chi Tunnels tour, you will see the Cu Chi complex with its network of tunnels and traps, and learn about how society functioned underground during times of war. You can also try your hand at shooting range with an AK-47

  • Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
    Around 8:00AM or 12:10PM. Start with pickup from the center of Ho Chi Minh City or meet at the meeting point then depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hour drive, we arrive at the Tunnels where You'll have the opportunity to explore the tunnel system, which includes narrow passageways, hidden entrances, and underground chambers. Learn about the daily life of the Cu Chi guerrilla fighters and how they managed to survive in the tunnels. You can crawl distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. You may see kitchens, living quarters, among other things used during the war. Learn about how different types traps were created and set up. Visit the weapon rooms and learn how the ingenious soldiers made them. You can also safely try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47. After exploration, we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 3:00pm for the morning tour and 6:50pm for the afternoon tour.

  • After the morning tour, visit a nearby restaurant for restroom, feel free to enjoy a light lunch on your own.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Good guide and a nice tour. Very knowledgable about the place. We made a stop on the way there. The seating on the bus was quite narrow but I managed.

The guide Theo was very engaging and gave a pretty good overview of the history of Vietnam and Saigon during the bus ride. The tunnels themselves were cool to see but nothing spectacular (the guide again made them more interesting!). I'd recommend doing the Cu Chi Tunnels with this guided tour as you get a full ride in a bus with AC that picks you up and drops you off in District 1/3 and the tunnels don't give a lot of information by themselves, so you'd benefit from a guide. Best to go in the morning as I assume the heat can really make the journey and the visit unpleasant.

Had a great trip to cu chi tunnels which was made even better by our tour guide Lan Unicorn. He made the trip very enjoyable with his knowledge and sense on humour. We went on the morning tour and the grounds weren’t as crowded as I expected which was nice. The rifle range won’t be for everyone and is expensive but overall a great trip and would recommend.
