    7.45am - 8.00am Pick up at your hotel and transfer to the dock, boat rides along Saigon River (approx. 1hr15m) Arrive at Cu Chi tunnel. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Have lunch. Return to Saigon by bus. 15.00pm Finish your Cu Chi Tunnel Waterway Trip.

Really excellent and informative trip by speedboat to the tunnels. Our guide Lucky was very well informed and really brought the experience alive. The ingenuity of the soldiers who built lived in the tunnels was incredible. We went early which was a good idea to miss the crowds that came by bus later.

We’re a family of 5 with 16, 14 & 11 yr old kids. This was a great tour of Cu Chi tunnels. We went via speedboat which made the 1.5hr trip there more interesting. Our tour guide was fantastic with good English, funny and a good pace for kids. He gave us all the info we needed at a relatively fast pace then left time at the end for questions so we weren’t bogged down by info at every stop. His name was Mr Chi - I’ve included a photo of his card - you should ask for him to guide you! It is incredible to see how they lived in these tunnels and what both sides had to contend with in the war (traps, tunnels, jungle warfare). A must do in Saigon!

Fantastic day out. Went on a tour with les rives to the cu chi tunnels. The service was great, pick up at 7.00am in nice air condition van and taken to the port to get on speed boat. Food was served along with fruit and cold drinks whilst we travel 1.15 minutes to get to the tunnels. It was such an amazing experience with a good English speaking tour guide who shared all her knowledge. Once the tour was complete lunch was served with a good range of foods to choose from. The boat ride back was a little more interesting given that we ended up in the middle of a storm but again tour guides were quick to hand out ponchos! Highly recommend this service as nothing was too much trouble
