We had an excellent biking experience for 3 days in Vietnam. Our guide Mai Thieu was fantastic. Thieu took us all around the Hoi An area, through quiet villages, rice fields, and beautiful countryside. All the journeys were on back roads and quiet paths away from busy streets. Thieu's local knowledge was extensive, and he knew just where to take us for amazing meals and local delicacies. Thieu also took lots of great photos and videos too. Thanks for the great memories. We can't wait to come back again for more!

This is an excellent way to see the backroads, jungle paths, local ferry boats, roadside food stands and the rich agriculture of the delta. Vietnam by Bike organises a first rate experience. We were very happy with our guide, Loc, who was a wealth of knowledge of the history and economy of the region as well as having an excellent command of the geography: he seemed to know every route and was able to adjust his itinerary for any request. We loved being able to stop for unexpected treats like the lion dance at a 300 year old temple, or buying fresh wild honeycomb from jungle bird hunters. This trip is great if you are moderately fit, comfortable on a mountain bike and possess some patience for the unexpected. We were especially lucky to be the only guests, so we could really set our own pace, but we could imagine that Loc would be able to manage larger groups with his usual panache. The local food was consistently delicious and the hotels were clean and generally quiet. Overall - highly recommended!
