    On arrival in the Mekong Delta as the bikes are set-up you may enjoy coffee or tea at a small village cafe. Soon we are off riding through the serene countryside on quiet, paved rural roads, past countless rice paddies, vegetable farms and orchards full of locally grown fruit. Our tour weaves along canal paths and orchard trails, across ferries, through the charming villages and towns full of friendly faces. Along the way, we’ll stop at a small shop to see traditional woven mats and visit a nearby cocoa plantation. We will ride through two very traditional local markets with fresh fruits and vegetables from the region, as well as the recent catch of fish from local rivers and streams.

    As we head further south, rural roads give way to concrete canal paths and the vegetation grows denser and many of the streams start to look more like the large tributaries of the Mekong. We will visit the largest wholesale fresh produce market in the region, see indoor fresh-water shrimp cultivation, and stop at a beautiful traditional temple of the Cao Dai religion.

After our meal and short rest, you will board a small canal boat for a relaxing journey through quiet canals, before our private van takes us back to hectic central Saigon.   • Guests should be comfortable on a bike and in reasonable physical condition.
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. The tour operator will provide thin plastic rain ponchos.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Had a fabulous day bike riding in the Mekong Delta. You really get off the beaten track and experience authentic scenery and people of this area. Our guide Dong was very helpful sharing so much information and taking care of all our needs. Thank you for a great day Dong. Would highly recommend this tour and guide.

Our tour guide Dat and our driver were a great team in accommodating our group and making sure we were well taken care of. The tour was very well thought out and there never moments where we were waiting around or wanting to get on with the tour. Dat is very informative and guests should be encouraged to ask him about the Vietnamese culture, lots of interesting insights!

This was a unique and immersive experience in the backroads of this so beautiful region. Our guide "Dat" was exceptionally attentive to our needs and security. During this 25km ride, we had the pleasure to small family business growing cocoa beans, nat knitters, we also had lunch in a local family home along the way. I am just simply happy all over with this intimate experience (4 people), i highly recommend.
