  • Ben Dinh Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
    At 7:00 AM, you will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the Cu Chi Tunnels in a minivan. Upon arrival, you will receive a brief lesson on paddling and safety instructions. After that, you will paddle slowly down the Sai Gon River to Cu Chi Tunnel (Ben Dinh) for 2 hours. Along the way, you can enjoy the changing scenery on the riverbank, from clumps of Water Hyacinths to mangrove trees. You'll also get to see the rural life of local people, fishing boats, attractive landscapes, and rice paddies. - Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. - After lunch, we will visit Cu Chi Tunnel to explore the remnants of wartime and secret bunkers and watch a documentary about the brave guerrilla fighters who fought for independence. You will also have the opportunity to crawl into the tunnels. You can visit the shooting range at your own expense (Bullet exclusion). - You will also get to try tapioca and hot tea. - Finally, we will return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at the hotel.

Got a pick up from hotel at stated time. Whilst I the car out to location we were giving a great overview of the history of Vietnam and the war. Once at River Side we were equipped with everything you could possibly need including phone cases, hats, Croc like shoes and so on. The paddle was 5km/ 3 miles which was so good. It was quiet and relaxing to be on the water. Ken the SUP instructor was great. After the SUP it was lunchtime and boy do they feed you! So much food!!!! But all very tasty! Onto the tunnels again our guide Tri was informative and very good. No complaints! Good thing with this tour is by the time you get to the tunnels most of the tour groups have already left so it was not crowded. A great idea for a tour and glad to have found it!!

They picked up me quite early from Saigon to beat the traffic in the city. We reached to a local house, after the toilet, get ready the sup board, we walked to the river bank for 2 minutes, and started our journey. We had seen the paddy fields, fishing boats, some floating houses, and many water hyacinth on the way. It’s a nice way to start a day tour. After 2 hours on sup board, we reach to the tunnel network of Cu Chi, and started another journey, so exciting. Lunch is nice. We back to Saigon on time and ready to get a massage straight away.

Tri was a legend. Insightful tour guide who was happy to educate the tour group about Vietnamese history. The food was amazing!
