We had the best time with Tom on this tour! It was lovely to get out of the city and see some more rural areas. The speedboat is comfy and zips you past all the traffic. It's great to see the city from the river. Would encourage!

What a great tour of Mekong delta by speed boat. If you want a less touristy part of the Mekong delta then this is a great trip. Visit local people and communities, markets and sampan boat ride on a quiet part of the river. Our tour guide John was great. Very friendly, knowledgeable and we never felt rushed.

We booked a half-day tour at the last minute to go down the Mekong Delta by boat and it was one of the best decisions we made on the trip. Initially we were hesitant about paying the extra fees for a private tour and were worried that a half day would feel too rushed but it ended up being fantastic and we were able to see everything we wanted. So glad we decided to book the private tour… the extra cost was worth it. Our tour guide Mr T was AMAZING and made the entire tour so much fun. He was so accomodating, knowledgeable and helpful. We got picked up boat and then stopped by some local markets. Then we visited a local village and rode bikes through some rice fields and got to meet a few friendly locals along the way. Mr T made sure that we saw everything that we wanted (including an impromptu visit inside a local’s home to feed some fish) and he went so far as to help us book a taxi after the tour wrapped. Afterwards he gave us some tips and suggestions of what to do for our following days. It was a side of Vietnam we wouldn’t have been able to see without him and so it made our experience unforgettable. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their guide.
